Series of geological textiles exploring meaningful connections between atomic, molecular structures and weaving. Part of two series of new works from research projects, an Australia Council Individual Project 2016 and Australian National University Vice Chancellor’s Artist Fellowship, 2016, in collaboration with the Research School of Earth Science. Use of new materials include 100% basalt, stainless steel, copper, glass, carbon fibre, silk and silver.
